A wedding is of course an event, where the need to balance between cost and lavish food needs to be addressed. So I can not say anything about the food, neither bad or good. But service was bad. The waiters were too young and without experience. After I missed the entrée, several requests were made, to set me a place. It took them nearly half an hour and by then, of course, not only the entrée was not available anymore, but it wasn't even mentioned. Parking was a challenge as well. When I came to the event there was ample parking available. But than I left for about half an hour and when I came back there was no parking whatsoever. The parking is not just to small for two events at the same time (there are two halls in Gaya), but as there are several other halls on the same street, the closest spot I found was a 5 minute walk away. Probably problematic, if I would have had someone with me with high heels in the sand parking lot. When I came back later to pick up the car, I was nearly blocked in from all sides and could hardly exit the parking lot. After having said all that, Gaya looks nice, both in daylight and by night. It quite central and easy to get there from all around.

We went to a 'tasting' event in advance of an upcoming wedding. The choice of salads was wide and they were highly appetizing. The fist course menu was also a wide scope. We enjoyed the breaded mushrooms and various other treats. The main courses were plentiful, and left us with a great difficulty, how can we choose between all these wonderful options. The service was top notch, and the deserts were heavenly. They far exceeded my expectations.

Nice place pretty and small, the only down side is that it's close to two more event venues and you can hear the music while the wedding ceremony
