Naomi is wonderful! She helped us plan a Bat/ Bar mitzvah in Israel for both our children. Naomi was very helpful in finding a beautiful and meaningful location, helping the kids study/ write for the ceremony and anything else we needed. She was very accommodating and thoughtful. Both my children have learning disabilities and taking that into consideration Naomi designed the perfect experience. The ceremony itself was beautiful ! We couldn't be happier and greatly recommend

We got a marvelous experience with Rabbi Neomi Efrat. A Bar Mitzvah event to remember. Ours was in Jerusalem but worth to bring her to any other location.

Naomi Efrat helped us prepare and officiated at our daughter’s bat mitzvah in 2022. She was extremely supportive of her and thoughtfully encouraged her to engage with Jewish texts in an authentic and meaningful way, not an easy task! The result was a deep learning process for even the most skeptical bat mitzvah girl. In my daughter’s own words: “Naomi really listens to you and doesn’t tell you what is right and what is wrong, she takes YOUR opinion into consideration. She helped adapt the liberal ceremony to the needs of our traditional family who attended the ceremony. She’s also such a nice person to work with; it was fun learning and preparing with her which made the process less stressful!” I’ll add, also, that I attended Rabbi Efrat’s Yom Kippur services during the height of the corona epidemic and, despite the complicated situation, she was able - through her authentic humanism and deep care for her congregants - to make it one of the most meaningful Jewish experiences of my life.

Naomi married my husband and in a beautiful and extremely personal reform ceremony in Israel in June. I grew up reform in the US, my husband grew up masorti in Israel. Naomi was able to bridge our diverse personal and familial cultural and religious traditions and practices, gracefully navigate all challenges (and opposition) that arose (it’s not common to have a reform woman rabbi in Israel), while bringing extreme depth of meaning to not only the day itself (from the Ketubah signing to the ceremony) but also to the entire process (preparing us as a couple for this big next step and everything it entailed). Throughout every step of our two year engagement and corona stress and postponement, Naomi was by our side, supporting us in all our needs (spiritual and practical)! Throughout the service she flowed seamlessly between Hebrew and English (making sure all guests understood), she gave space to BOTH our voices as well as our families’ in the service, and she brought an endless stream of positivity; we could feel how genuinely she cared about us! I could not recommend Naomi enough, there is no one else you want standing by your side on this important day!!!
