Two nights in the Waldorf as a little summer getaway. Room was small but impeccably clean and well furnished. Lots of lighting which is hard to find in hotels lately. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Uninspired, limp salads. "Fresh" tuna cubes were far from fresh, bordering on rotten. When I showed it to the manager of the dining room he shrugged and the dish continued to feature on the buffet. The egg Benedict had zero hollandaise sauce. Service was slow and some requests were completely ignored. By the time I got milk for my coffee the coffee was cold. Specially ordered french toast was brought to the table cold. The buffet on both days was almost identical, except for the addition of an extremely creamy and tasty pasta Alfredo. All in all you can't beat the location and old world charm of the rooms and courtesy of the front desk staff. Breakfast is better off being taken elsewhere.

We chose to take my son & his friends a total of 10 people to the Waldorf instead of David Citadel, for the Friday night meal, because the Waldorf offers waiter service. But that was a huge mistake. Our waiter was nowhere to be seen. He came by smiled & didn’t bring our food. He let us sit around & wait endlessly. When it came to desert he was gone for good. The head waiter asked us to move because they needed to clean up for breakfast. He was shocked when I told him that our waiter didn’t bring us dessert yet. It was not a pleasant experience @ all. Never taking out anyone there again.

The hotel was super clean, the staff were extremely nice and helpful They really stepped up their game on Shabbat and holiday meals So many choices to choose from and the quality of the food amazing From lamb chops to Veil and Great chicken options ממליץ בחום

Pretty shocked that this facility is able to to maintain the Waldorf name. Carpets and upholstery are stained. The general facility is far from a Waldorf standard of cleanliness. The food is far from Waldorf experience, We will utilize the same salads by lunch that they did by breakfast and pretend you are the crazy one for noticing and pointing it out to them but in the general hotel Front desk @ the Managment attitude is “take it or leave it”. They do not have loyalty or concern for their loyal customers whatsoever. When they give you a room upgrade, they make it sound like they just gifted you the world‘s biggest gift while diamond members get upgrades pretty much at every facility throughout the world. All in all the place is decent, but definitely not a Waldorf experience.

The hotel makes a great first impression with its beautiful architectural decor and an overall shiny, clean look when you first walk in. The beds were clean and comfortable, which is always a plus. However, once you settle in, you start to notice the details. The carpeting and upholstery on chairs and sofas throughout the hotel have noticeable old stains, which takes away from the otherwise polished appearance. One major downside is the lack of any outdoor seating area. If you want to sit outside for some fresh air, there’s simply nowhere to do that. Additionally, the pool is only accessible starting in July, which is disappointing for guests visiting during other times of the year. The hotel also lacks basic amenities that most places typically offer—there’s no small shop on-site for toiletries, snacks, or drinks, and no bar or beverage service available. Overall, while the hotel has style and cleanliness at first glance, it’s missing some key features and comfort options that would make a stay more enjoyable.
